Here at the Stivland ranch in scenic Plymouth, MN – first nest box fledged this morning. I caught the last four “jumpers” but - too slow to get the camera in play. There are about a dozen baby Hooded Mergs (and one baby Woody) now on the pond now. One down and two to go. This is the nest box that failed last year. I was happy to see a success this year.
