I saw the last 10 mins of "The Sagebrush Sea" on Weds night here in metro. In those few minutes there were SACRs, FEHAs, BUOWs, GOEA, WEBLs, CLSWs, and of course Sage Grouse. There was also an unnamed western thrasher. The Ferruginous Hawks nested and fledged, as did the Golden Eagles and Burrowing Owls. The Grouse were the main actors and a few young survived the next year. There are probably more birds (all beautifully filmed) in the full hour and I plan to watch it.
It will be rebroadcast on PBS here on Sunday (Sept 20) at 7:00 to 8:00 pm. GAndersson St Paul ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
