With this past weekend being the opening of duck hunting here in Minnesota, based upon the hunters I spoke with, it seemed wood ducks, along with teal, were the main birds bagged.
I thought I might write my Nature Nut column this week on Wood Ducks, focusing on some of their other interesting natural history besides being a game bird. I am looking for a high resolution picture or two of a male and/or male & female that I might use with my column and will credit any that I do use.
