(Posted by John Richardson <[email protected]> via moumn.org) I found an American Avocet today between 4-5pm from the WI side of the Superior Entry. I was a able to get photos good enough to make a positive ID. It flew in from WI across the breakwater entry and called in flight. It landed on the beach area over the MN wall of the Superior Entry wall.
