Three Rivers Park District is looking for volunteers to help with monitoring its Purple Martin colonies located in Plymouth, Maple Grove and Medina. The season for checking nesting houses is mid-April through early August. Training is available and it is a great chance to learn about the largest of North American swallows. There are also many benefits for volunteering for the Park District and we welcome inquiries.
