Not a lot of action yet.  I made the trip from LaCrosse yesterday in the
wind and rain.  About 50-100 swans are right by the Overlook just south of
Brownsville.  But not many more than that.  Along with the swans were
Northern pintails, green winged teals, Gadwall and Mallards.  Way out at
maximum scope range were some small rafts of ducks (divers).  (By the way,
if the kind lady who gave my car battery a jump start happens to read this,
thank you so much for your kindness.  I made it home and the car seems to
be fine.  Still not sure what happened.)
