It was magic on Tomahawk Road near Ely at sunrise this morning. Full trip report, videos and photos are on my blog with mileage points explaining where various birds are located, but in short I saw well over 30 spruce grouse, and many black-backed woodpeckers. Given the recent warm weather, Tomahawk Rd is very driveable.
