Last Saturday we had two Red-shouldered Hawks in the wooded area behind our house in Chanhassen. If they remain to nest, it will be the 11th consecutive year that they (I assume the same pair) have nested in that area. The earliest I had recorded them arriving was 3/15, which was last year. This seems unusually early, but I am not complaining!
