Last Saturday, 5 March, Erika and I photographed a Black-capped Chickadee drinking maple sap at the UM Landscape Arboretum, Carver Co. The photo is on this morning’s blog.
I recently saw a wonderful photo of a chickadee drinking from a sap icicle, clearly before our recent warm spell. FaceBook? One of the bird listerves? I do not remember where I saw the photo. Cheers!
