At Riverside Park in St. Paul Park (Washington Co) this morning I went looking
for some
Golden-crowned Kinglet photo-ops. I didn’t find a single GCKI but I saw lots of
Brown Creepers,
Ruby-crowned Kinglets, a few Hermit Thrushes and a surprise pair of Tufted
Titmice.
The park is a small one along the Mississippi River in St. Paul Park at the
west end of 13th Ave just west of 1st St.
Best place to park is on the south side of 13th Ave. The titmice were seen near
the entrance. I could
hear one calling while standing near the car. Greg Jahner III maintains a
platform seed feeder near the
entrance and has now added a suet feeder.
