I checked out Brandt-Angus and Agassiz Valley Impoundments briefly this afternoon. A few of the new arrivals for me in MN were: Horned Grebe Red-necked Grebe Vesper Sparrow American Coot Red-breasted Merganser Double-crested Cormorant Marbled Godwit American White Pelican Brewer's Blackbird Brown-headed Cowbird (other than 1 in my yard awhile back).
Also still present were Common Mergansers and, on the Marshall County side of Agassiz Valley there were over 100 Greater White-fronted Geese. Not much for shorebirds yet at either place, just a few yellowlegs. Sandy Aubol East Grand Forks Polk County
