180th St. Marsh (180th St. E, 1/2 mile east of Fischer Ave.), west pool,
north of road at edge of cattails. I found it about 7:45 pm today (25
Apr.) but it soon flew deeper into the cattails and disappeared. I
refound it about 8:00 and watched it with scope until 8:15. Did not have
pronounced white facial feathering of adult breeding White-faced, but
further details could not be determined due to poor lighting (heavy
overcast with fading light).
