Hi All— Photographs of two of three juvenal Great Horned Owls on my blog this morning: http://dantallmansbirdblog.blogspot.com. They are probably about six weeks old. The birds are on private property near Lake Girard Park in Bloomington.
Does anyone have an idea about the size of the eyes of the owl on the right? They seem exceptionally large. Erika thinks its just that that bird is awake, while the other may be dozing.
