I came across an excellent shorebird spot in SW Redwood Cty at CR5 and CR4 7mi north of Walnut Grove. There were 3 Hudsonian Godwits, a Willet, S- palm Plovers, several Dunlin and many other species - the big guys were out in the open water but there were many birds wandering around in the cut off corn stalks.
