A calling yellow billed cuckoo was also seen at Long Lake, Stearns County (next to Big Fish Lake at the end of Big Fish Lake Road) yesterday at 11 am. The bird called, flew into onto a dead branch and was clearly seen for about three minutes before flying away. Same tree where a yellow billed cuckoo was seen last year.
