I found a very cooperative Swainson's Hawk south of Danube around noon today. It was along CR 17 at 280th St. It was perched on a pole top on CR 17 and appeared to be hunting the harvested wheat field in the southwest quadrant of that intersection. Whenever it flushed it would only move one pole over and did not seem to want to leave that area. It allowed very close approach.
