Saw hundreds and hundreds of shorebirds this morning (and a a few Tall Ships) 
in the Duluth Harbor. Surprisingly the shorebirds were not in much evidence at 
the Park Point Recreation Area, but along some of my haunts / mud flats next to 
the harbor it was an entirely different story. Saw Lesser Yellowlegs, 
SemiPalmated Sandpipers, Least Sandpipers, SemiPalmated Plovers and one Ruddy 
Turnstone. In addition, the Great Egret is still hanging around in the Bong 
Bridge area. This specie of bird is also a bit rare for northeastern Minnesota.
