Jirik was good this morning with probably 100 shorebirds, mostly peeps. All
4 common peeps were present as well as 1 Red-necked Phalarope and a dozen
or so Franklin's gulls. Shorebirds are widely scattered, mostly in the
grass (some in the plowed field) and difficult to see. Mostly on the west
side of the road.
