For those of you who know Mike Mulligan, he turned 85 yesterday. Mike was an active and fine Minnesota birder until he and his wife moved to Calgary about 15 years ago. If he was here you would meet him at the scene of almost any recently discovered bird worth chasing. Upon arrival in Canada he became one of Calgary's most active birders. And he organizes birding trips to Central America. He is planning a trip to Guatemala in 2017, should you have interest. (His Central American life list is pushing 1,000 species.)
