Late this afternoon (around 4:45) there was an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull on Lake Harriet, Minneapolis, viewed from the southwest corner of the lake. Still many hundred Ring-billed Gulls here, as well as increasing numbers of Herring Gulls. Earlier, Bruce Fall had spotted a first-winter Glaucous Gull. A few Tundra Swans settled on the lake as darkness set in.
