The posts of this black swan at Lake Harriet seem to indicate that it appeared
there about a week ago. It appears that there is another black swan that has
been hanging out since the spring at the old Cedar Avenue bridge by the
airport. From what I can tell this is this one that is still out there and may
need rescuing however how does one rescue a bird if it can fly? I think the
assumption was made that these two birds were one in the same which is now not
true. I also am feeling sad, angry and frustrated and wonder where these birds
are coming from and why someone isn't taking care of them or either abandoning
them or letting them loose outside for them to suffer and die.
