It was going between both sides of the creek between the concrete north of the footpath and some brush south of the creek about 10 feet above the water
I did not have binos with me, but looked like a very thin tail. Jumped under some brush and didn't re-emerge for a better look. Guessing a winter wren, but have not had time to try back to re-find it.
