After a recent encounter with a Shrike at my bird feeder, I decided this might be a good bird for readers of my weekly Nature Nut column to learn about.
Unfortunately, I did not get a good picture of the fleeting Shrike, so if anyone has one I might use, preferably a Northern in fairly high resolution, please send it to me.
