4:15 pm: I noted the owl sitting in the entry of the largest, highest, Wood Duck box 40 feet from the northwest corner of our house. I checked the box TV camera yesterday and the box was empty. There are pellets in the box now. Perhaps the wet weather drove it inside. The owl can be seen from your car when parked in the street. The spruce trees will make a good screen. This is the first time in years that I have seen one here. It will fly out when the light is failing.
