As I drove south on 35 today at 4 pm, just as I passed Tobie's in Hinckle, three Trumpeter Swans passed over the highway heading west, about a hundred feet of altitude. Slow day for Nickerson Bog, no raptors, saw some ravens, lots of crows and BBC chickadees and a single hairy woodpecker.
