I have been stopping at that park in the evening often in the last week or so. Large flocks would stop for awhile and eventually leave southerly to other sections of prior lake or maybe spring lake. I eventually made it to Spring tonight and refound it. It was on the water with a minimum of 5000 gulls. Herring and a few franklins gulls were there as well. There is a small parking lot off Shoreline Boulevard which runs between Upper Prior Lake and Spring. From there it's a short walk to the water
