Not a bad spring showing along Snelling Lake and the Minnesota River at Fort 
Snelling State Park this morning:

Eastern phoebe - numerous
Yellow-rumped warbler - in clumps of 25-50 along the lake
Chipping sparrow
American tree sparrow
Belted kingfisher - numerous
Downy and piliated woodpeckers
Wood duck - 15-20 pair in and around the lake
Bald eagle, including two juveniles
Blue-winged teal
Ring-necked duck
Red breasted merganser
Red necked grebe
Possible eared/horned grebe
Hermit thrush
Merlin
Wild turkey flock
