Black-crowned Night-Herons have returned to the Laurel Avenue ponds in Golden Valley. These ponds are located along the north side of Laurel Avenue near Louisiana Avenue north of I-394 and have hosted these birds for many years. The birds were present on the middle pond this evening and are quite easy to see at this time before leaf out.
