I just returned from lake Harriet where the Long Tailed duck is still present. It's associating with a large group of ducks, and spends most of its time underwater. When I saw it, it was in close proximity to a group of scaup, which are close by a group of surface feeding shovelers. Beard's Plaisance park is just across the street from the ducks.
