I was informed of a "strange" bird this morning. A likely Spotted / Eastern
Towhee hybrid was located. Bird shows spotting of Spotted Towhee but my
photos also show a lot of white on base of the primaries which might indicate
hybrid. Bird is appearing off and on below the feeders on Shag Road
southeast of New Ulm. The home is about 1 mile off Hwy 15 south of New
Ulm. There are a large number of Purple Martin houses at this location.
