New Arrivals for Lac qui Parle and Yellow Medicine Counties:

Baltimore Orioles
Orchard Orioles
Red-Headed Woodpeckers
Semi-Palmated Plovers
Short-Billed Dowitchers

Barn and Cliff Swallows are building nests.

1 Common Loon on Bolland's Slough, Lqp CR 12.

Found 2 broods of Canada Goslings today.
Most of the Geese & Ducks are still incubating.
Still lots of Golden Plovers in flooded fields.
Found another Northern Mockingbird, in Canby.

At Prairie Marsh Farm:
A female Woodcock is incubating eggs in the Walnut Grove.
Eastern Bluebirds are nesting in a box near the Trout Ponds.
My dog flushed a nesting Wild Turkey early this afternoon;
She was incubating 3 Turkey eggs and, oddly, 1 Pheasant egg.

2 Upland Sandpipers singing their R2D2 songs from fence posts.
