Just returned 8:00 p.m. from old Cedar Ave. haunts. Too
much water off the boardwalk and it looks like the cranes
have abandoned their nest... sad.  No shorebirds off the 
boardwalk, but six species in the shallow flats at the bottom 
of the hill on left hand side as you drive down the hill: 
solitary, spotted, and least sandpipers, lesser and greater  
yellowlegs, and semi-palmated plovers.
