Field trip Report

 Orchard Orioles and a mix of Warblers were observed on our walk at the 
Louisville Swamp Unit this morning.

Here are a few of the species observed by our group:

Caspian Tern
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Least Flycatcher
Great Crested Flycatcher
Yellow-throated Vireo
Warbling Vireo
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Swainson's Thrush
Ovenbird, Blue-winged, Tennessee, Nashville, Common Yellowthroat, American 
Redstart, Magnolia, Bay-breasted, Yellow, Chestnut-sided, Blackpoll, Palm and 
Yellow-rumped Warblers.
Lincoln's Sparrow
Orchard Oriole

EBird Web site.


Here are the dates of some upcoming MNWR bird walks.  The walks begin at 8:00 
am and there is no fee for the walk.


May 16 - Bass Ponds
June 12 - Bass Ponds
These walks begin at 8:00 am.
