We walked the Riverside Trail at William O'Brien State Park on Monday late
afternoon. We weren't intending to bird, but shortly after starting we got
treated to a beautiful singing male Rose-breasted Grosbeak. Just before the
Riverway Campground, we got to watch and hear at least a dozen Common
Nighthawks peenting, feeding & flying above the St. Croix. Also, heard many
Great Crested Flycatchers and Pileated Woodpeckers along the trail.
