I just moved into a new (to me) home, and am delighted with the yard birds in my first few days here, including a pair of Barred Owls, Blue-Winged Warblers, Ovenbirds, Wood Thrush, among the more typical stuff. But the most surprising to me is the almost daily (5 of 6 days) appearance of Black-and-white Warbler. The house is in Washington County, not far north of Stillwater. On ebird it looks like the only place with relatively frequent B&W Warbler summer reports in this area over the years has been Afton SP. So if it sticks around that would be a nice treat! (haven't seen a mate--but it does keep to the same general area and sings frequently.)
