Biking the trail in Lilydale Reg Park this a.m. (Fri), I saw a pair of
fledgling eaglets (sp?) sitting on the edge of their huge nest in a dead tree
overhanging the shore of the lake there (S side of trail). No parents nearby,
but still a neat sight! Doris Rubenstein

Subject: [mou-net] Snowy Egret--Kandiyohi County

There is a Snowy Egret in Willmar in the newly formed wetland along the
Willmar bypass (US 71/MN 23). This is just south of Willmar Avenue or CR
23. The wetland is on the east side of the bypass, and there is a gravel
entrance ramp you can drive down from CR 23 to get close to the wetland.
The Snowy Egret is at the far SE corner of the wetland with two Great
Egrets. It is sometimes out of view as it hunts around a culvert.
