This afternoon at about 5:30 I and two others observed first one and then a
second King Rail at the North Ottowa Impoundment.  The birds were at the
base of a few small willow bushes and seemed a little furtive.  One was
smaller than the other and was more shy than it's larger companion. The
location is on 250th at the intersection with the culverts lined up above
ground, on the West side of that intersection.
