I'm curious if anyone has had successful or unsuccessful trips to see the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher in Mower County recently, or for the King Rail pair up in Grant County. The last confirmed sighting from eBird for the flycatcher is on July 15, and the last attempt (a fruitless one) was on July 21. I'm debating trying for the bird on Thursday. The King Rails were last viewed on July 15 or 16, but I don't have any information since then and I'd like to try for them on Friday.
