A group of 5 (maybe 6) found by the MBW group this afternoon at Pine Ridge Co
Park. They were in the mixed stand of planted conifers closest to CR 6 feeding
on spruce cones. Two adult females, two juveniles, and 1-2 unknown. Also both
King Rails still present at the usual N Ottawa impoundment spot on 250th St.
Only briefly seen as they ran across the road. Several shorebirds present but
nothing unexpected, mostly along 260th St. Did not see the B-n Stilts.
