At about 4:00 PM Thursday we found a Lark Bunting perched on a powerline along 100th Street about 2 miles east of Lake Bella State WMA in eastern Nobles County. This is the state line and the bird was 1st observed while perched on the Iowa side of the road and then it flew into the corn field on north side and was joined by another Bunting and they flew off to the west towards the WMA.
