First found Tuesday by Clinton Nienhaus and others in the grassy gravel flats at the old Stella Jones pier in west Duluth and still present today. Mixed in with Lapland Longspurs and Horned Larks and moving around a lot.
Take Central Ave exit off I-35 and go S to Waseca Industrial Rd stop sign. Turn E here and then S as the road curves over RR tracks. Turn E on Lesure St at Grassy Point sign and go maybe 100 yards and turn right onto the flats of the vacant pier.
