We made a quick trip through Carlos Avery today. American Tree Sparrows were
everywhere! We also saw a flock of at least 25 mourning doves, just a few
juncos, 2 harriers and one Northern Shrike. Lots of bald eagles soaring.

Lake Vadnais has many, many ring-necked ducks all on the far side of the lake
as usual. There were 10 Trumpeter Swans, the usual mallards, Canada geese, and
still some coots. Likely some other ducks mixed in but we didn't have a scope.
