Seen very briefly under our bird feeder at 8:10 this morning, scratching like a Fox sparrow does. This was the Great Plains variant, as pictured in Sibley. It flew off with a group of juncos. Lauderdale is near Highway 280 and Larpenteur Ave. Jeanne and Steve Tanamachi
