The Minnesota Birding Facebook page has been a wealth of information, much of which doesn’t get shared here often enough. Here are a couple of noteworthy reports I recently read:
Summer Tanager came to a feeder in Andover, Anoka County, from Nov 5-21. Nov 18: Surf Scoter was with a Red-necked Grebe on Medicine Lake in Plymouth, Hennepin County. They were spotted off of the main beach in French Park (I believe). This is a good large lake to check for waterfowl at this time of year. Good birding!
