SNOWY OWL still present at the Bemidji Airport! Originally found this afternoon
by Denny and
Barb Martin. Seen from approximately 750 yards away. Best viewed with a scope
from across
the runway at the Paul Bunyan Elementary School's sign. Also for those
interested in birding
the area - at least one of the (possibly two?) Townsend's Solitaires was still
present this
afternoon in the fruiting trees in Bemidji along 26th St. NW in between Park
Ave. and the
cemetery. This bird was originally found by Jamie.
