This was posted in several Facebook pages so this will be repeat info for some. Alas, no accompanying description or photos, but a reminder for all of us to be aware. Shared with permission: “Snippet from Rob Russell on MN Birding: "Had a belated private landowner report of two folks that watched two Fieldfares feeding on berries on Nov 10 in the NE most township of Becker County. They had their field guide with them and said they were positive they weren't Varied Thrush and watched them for 10 minutes."
There are also three Mute Swans spotted originally by Ron Cordes at Blue Lake Sewage Lagoons in Scott Co. One or two other birders have seen them within the past few days. To stay more up to date on these things, check out the Facebook pages (Minnesota Birding, Minnesota Rare Bird Alert, and Minnesota County Listers and Big Year Birders) as well as eBird.org. Thanks and good birding! Alyssa DeRubeis ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
