There were still 5 species of grebe in the boat launch lagoon on the
Coon Rapids side of the Dam when we departed at 9:45:
Western Grebe - 1
Red-necked Grebe - 3
Eared Grebe - 4
Horned Grebe - lots
Pied-billed Grebe
Also lots of Ruddy Ducks, along with a few Ring-necked Ducks and Hooded
Mergansers--all in the lagoon.
The river itself was relatively empty compared to recent mornings, with
most of the ducks having departed.

Buffleheads
Kinglets - both species
Yellow-rumped warbler
