Late this afternoon today I saw the Summer Tanager that was previously reported. It was perched in a tree along the dirt trail, located above the bridge and stream. The bird’s multi-colors were stunning! As I walked toward the brook trail entrance, it perched briefly again, and flew.
I did not see the Kentucky Warbler, but great sightings of it have been reported today.
