I will be in the Detroit Lakes area this week and have about four hours to bird on the morning of Fri Jun 29. Any recommendations? I've heard that the Tamarac NWR is one of the premiere areas in the state. Any others near there? What are some local specialties I might look for? Also, if anyone is up for joining me, I'd love the company (and the expertise, since I'm still fairly new to birding). If so, please respond to this e-mail.
