I and a couple others saw the Whooping Crane pair on the east side of Highway
101 (see previous reports). They were close to the county line but remained
mostly on Carver side. This was from 7:15-7:35pm.

Then I swung up to Grass Lake in Eden Prairie (Hennepin Co.) where I found the
three Mute Swans that have been there since July 22. Steve Carlson originally
found them, although I was never able to find the original report and all the
reports I saw were on eBird. There is a small gravel parking area where Flying
Cloud Drive bends W-NE that is near a good overlook.

Good birding!
